To promote the work of Guildcare to local businesses and see if they would be happy to’ host ‘a Guildcare collecting tin, beside a till for example. The volunteer would maintain a link with the host site and exchange full tins for empty ones at regular intervals.
Friendly and enthusiastic volunteers are needed to help us collect funds in their local area. On behalf of the Donkey Sanctuary you will be emptying our existing collecting tins, paying in the funds and helping us to source new outlets. With over 3000 collection boxes filling up across our county in shops, pubs and clubs on a regular basis, we cannot possibly empty them all ourselves.
If you become a Volunteer for the Kent Air Ambulance you would simply be registered to some collection boxes in your area.Â When we receive a call from the owner or manager of the premises, we will then ring askingÂ you to empty it on our behalf.
We have several hundred static collection boxes across Sussex and need volunteers to telephone shops across Sussex to ask if they would take one of the boxes, or deliver boxes to and collect full boxes from shops and bars on a regular basis.
