We are looking for someone who wants to make a difference in the community. You will be working with a team of adults to ensure events are safe and well planned. You will be trained to a standard of an OCN qualification and will be responsible for enthusing, inspiring and leading the adults in the Scout Group so that the young people can enjoy Scouting.
The group needs volunteers to help it grow.We currently need help with the community allotment,cafe and helping on outings,card making,knitting etc.
The Samaritans provide 24/7 confidential and emotional support for people experiencing feelings of distress and despair.The service is mostly delivered on the telephone but also callers are seen face to face or contact by email.
To help run education programmes for schools and youth groups.Work as part of a team.These are an important link with the local community.
To help on Awareness/Fundraising Stand and/or help with setting up and dismantling the stand.Held at Steyne Gardens,Worthing.11am-2pm
To help on an Awareness/Fundraising stand or with Bucket Collections.Possible start 10.30am.Kensington Street North Laine Brighton.
To raise awareness of RNLI and to communicate sea safety message to young people through lifeboat STATIONS.
To raise awareness of RNLI and to communicate sea safety to young people at schools,lifeboat stations and events.
To promote the work of RNLI and communicate sea safety messages and relevant material of events.Provide assistance at various events and supervise young people.Assist with administering surveys and competitions.
Updating forms,filing and drafting documents.Conducting volunteer inductions,reference checks etc.Collating data for drop-in sessions and for evidence impact.
